Hey! I’m May
My name is Marie, but I'd be very happy if you call me May. I'm 27 years old, and I graduated from college with a focus on economics, but I ran away from that to pursue photography. In my work, I specialize in relaxed, intimate, natural weddings, but I'm not afraid of grand celebrations and urban elopements. Foggy days, rain and thunder sounds, coffee in any form, cats, music from 50's, Harry Potter and Star Wars movies, old cameras and good food. Combine this all together and you get who I am and what I love.
I love capturing moments of happiness and heartfelt emotion, creating timeless, vibrant looking pictures. No extra posing, authentic moments and memories. I’ve been running around with a camera since I was 12 years old.
International wedding?
Say no more! My yellow jacket and red backpack are always ready for travels. I am available for destination weddings and more than thrilled to capture your wonderful adventures. I fell in love with Nordic countries, streets of Hungaria, Czech coffee culture, Slovak mountains and Italian cuisine. I have shot weddings of people from Czechia, Slovakia, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Austria, Spain, England and became a part of international wedding community (MyWed).
When I was looking for a wedding photographer, the photos from May appealed to me at first sight, but I still had no idea what a gem ours would be! God, that's beautiful! I love those colors! May photographed our autumn wedding beyond our expectations. She captured exactly the emotions that we will remember when viewing photos with tears in our eyes even in 30 years. She was everywhere. At every important moment, and at the same time unnoticed as a ghost. We also chose her because the photoshoot with her is casual, natural, full of emotions, nothing faked, no unnatural wanna be model poses. All communication and planning with May is relaxed and we had a lot of fun during the photoshoot. Just wonderful.
